PriBank Becomes a Full Financial Partner of KCGF with Access to All Guarantee Windows

Prishtina, 12 November 2025 – The Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF) and PriBank today signed an agreement through which PriBank obtains the status of a Registered Financial Institution with full cooperation rights under KCGF.

This agreement marks PriBank’s transition from the preregistered phase to full partnership, granting it access to all guarantee windows with a total guarantee limit of €6.5 million.

Through this cooperation, PriBank will provide loans to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) supported by KCGF guarantees, thereby facilitating access to finance for key economic sectors and promoting sustainable growth, exports, and innovative entrepreneurship.

Within this agreement, several strategic guarantee windows are included — such as the GROW Window, the Women in Business Window, and the Startup Window — all of which have been enhanced with new features, including:

• Longer maturities aligned with the nature of investments and business cycles.
• Higher guarantee coverage to ease access to credit and reduce risk for financial institutions.
• Increased financing limits, both in loan exposure and maximum loan size, to support more ambitious projects.
• More favorable guarantee fees, reducing financing costs for beneficiary enterprises.
• Simplified procedures and greater flexibility in evaluation, depending on the product and business needs.

These improvements enhance the attractiveness of the schemes, stimulate sustainable investments (through GROW), support the development of women-owned businesses, and empower startups across Kosovo.

Statement by KCGF Managing Director

“With the signing of the agreement with PriBank, the number of KCGF’s Financial Partners rises to eight commercial banks and four microfinance institutions, further expanding the Fund’s sustainable impact on the economy. Through our guarantee schemes, we continue to facilitate access to finance for more enterprises. The enhancements we have introduced in the strategic windows increase the appeal of financing, encourage green investments, and strengthen innovative entrepreneurship throughout Kosovo.”

Statement by PriBank Executive Director

PriBank Executive Director Mr. Fatos Krasniqi emphasized:
“PRIBANK is pleased to announce its membership in the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF), marking an important step toward empowering local businesses and facilitating access to finance for micro, small, and medium enterprises. This partnership will enable us to expand our support to clients, foster innovation, and improve financial access for entrepreneurs with promising ideas.
Through this collaboration, PRIBANK reaffirms its commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable banking system, contributing to Kosovo’s economic development.”
